Stages of the life cycle of people

People belonging to different generations coexist in a traditional family unit: spouses, descendants and, sometimes, ascendants. The members of each of these categories are usually found in different stages within the typical life cycle of a person: education, work activity and retirement.

Depending on the lifetime of each of the members, the individual will have different needs to meet. Thus, it will not be the same being at school than in full productive life or close to retirement.

In each of the life stages, the situation of each member will have to be analysed and the decisions must be adapted accordingly to the needs that each individual has.
