Performance

The performance of investment funds is calculated by comparing the net asset values ​​corresponding to the dates used as a reference for the beginning and end of the period. Thus, if on date D0 the net asset value of the fund was NAV0, and on date Dt the net asset value is NAVt, the performance of the fund (pt) in the period D0– Dt will be:

The same would be done if, instead of the net asset value of an investment fund, it were about the purchase price and sale price of the shares of an investment company with variable capital.
